About Cassidy
Cassidy Kurtz, owner and designer of Jewels West, was born and raised on a ranch north of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
In May of 2006, she graduated from Colorado State University with a double major in Animal Science and Agricultural Business.
Cassidy began Jewels West out of a love of creating with her hands and personal pleasure in both the lifestyle and fashion of the west.
Most of her designs are one of a kind pieces influenced by the southwestern style, as you will see plenty of turquoise, coral, and sterling silver accents.
In an attempt to further her knowledge and skills, Cassidy is currently apprenticing with a fine silver and goldsmith, Sarah Buckles, who owns and operates The Silver Spur of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
